WATCH: Biden Celebrates Trump Indictment With Reference To ‘Dark Brandon’ Meme

On the same day that President Biden’s Department of Justice indicted the president’s chief political rival on four more felony charges, Biden seemingly gloated over the news in a video statement.

The totally organic and in no way astroturfed “dark Brandon” meme generally features an image of President Biden with red, glowing eyes or something to that effect. While “the left can’t meme” has become a common saying over the past decade, the Biden campaign has adopted the “dark Brandon” meme and has rolled it out on multiple occasions dating back to last April.

On Thursday, Biden’s social media team rolled out the meme once again in a dig at former President Donald Trump. The short video clip shows President Biden sipping from a “dark Brandon” coffee mug before saying “I like my coffee dark.”

President Biden’s video statement was promptly roasted on social media. “The ‘great unifier’ is back with a Dark Brandon flex just hours after indicting his main political rival AGAIN,” said U.S. Rep. Wesley Hunt (R-TX).

“[I’m] glad they embrace the ‘biden is evil’ memes,” said popular podcast host Tim Pool.

The timing of the video also appeared to be clearly targeted, as it was posted while former President Trump was in the nation’s capital to be arraigned on four felony charges levied by the Biden DOJ. To date, the former president has been indicted in connection with three cases — two in federal court and one in New York City.

Thursday’s indictment stems from the Trump legal team’s objections to the 2020 election. Charges include Obstruction of an Official Proceeding, Conspiracy to Defraud the United States, Conspiracy to Obstruct an Official Proceeding and Conspiracy Against Rights.

If convicted on all charges, Trump faces over 610 years in prison.
