WATCH: Bird Lands On Peter Doocy’s Head In Hilarious Moment Outside White House

Blame it on those locks of beautiful hair.

An intrepid bird outside the White House graced the head of Fox News’ Peter Doocy with its presence on Friday morning, briefly touching down before escaping the reporter’s swinging hand in a moment of absurd levity. Fellow “Fox & Friends” anchors were more than amused by their impromptu guest.

“What is going on!” Brian Kilmeade screamed as the bird came back for a second pass.

Despite the momentary confusion, Doocy kept his cool.

“I did not like that at all,” he replied while continuing to wave his hand above his head and smooth his partially disheveled hair.

With cherry blossom trees in bloom all around Washington, D.C., it’s not hard to believe that the city’s nest-dwelling denizens are searching out insular materials for their new homes. Doocy just happened to have the fluffiest supply of building material in the vicinity.

“It’s probably so dirty,” the reporter laughed. “President Trump, if you’re watching upstairs, we’ve gotta do something about these birds!”

The White House press corps may be “quacking” up about the incident at today’s briefing, and it’s almost certain that Trump and spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt — both vociferous consumers of cable news — saw Doocy ducking for cover.

The fast-rising 37-year-old became a household name during the Biden-Harris administration, generating made-for-TV moments multiple times a week while ruffling the feathers of former press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre over news of the day. Viewers flocked to clips of Doocy asking former Vice President Kamala Harris when she planned to take her first interview as a presidential candidate or simply asking KJP how she was doing after former President Joe Biden dropped out of the race.

Peter Doocy is well-known for being the son of Steve Doocy, the television personality and co-host of “Fox & Friends,” one of FOX News’s flagship morning shows. Growing up in a family deeply embedded in the media industry, Peter was exposed to journalism from a young age, which influenced his career path.

Since joining Fox in 2009, he has risen from a general assignment reporter to senior White House correspondent and is now one of the Trump administration’s go-to sources for parroting its talking points within conservative media circles.

The president’s fondness for Doocy was on display when the two joked last month about “backdating” their March Madness brackets.

“President Trump, did you fill out an NCAA March Madness Bracket?” Doocy asked.

“I didn’t, I should have. Have there been upsets, a couple, right?” Trump replied.

Doocy asked, “Too late now?”

Trump then suggested he could do a “backdated” filing.

“A little bit late,” Trump admitted. “I should give you one, but maybe backdate it, right?”

Doocy, ever a happy warrior, didn’t grouse about the president’s fudged predictions for the tournament.
