Biden Gets Pummeled On Twitter After Bragging About Shooting Down Chinese Balloon After 5 Days
On Saturday, the military finally made the decision to shoot down the Chinese balloon that has been floating over America for a week, with an F-22 out of Langley Air Force Base shooting the balloon down over the Atlantic Ocean with an AIM-9x missile. The Election Wiz, a breaking news account on Twitter, posted about the shoot down, saying:
PENTAGON: F-22 from Langley Air Force Base fired one AIM-9X missile at around 58,000 ft, which hit the Chinese spy balloon flying at 65,000 ft. Balloon fell into coastal waters. Recovery ongoing.

Why the Pentagon would risk giving away the radar signature of an F-22 fighter while firing a missile just to shoot down a balloon was unclear.
Regardless, President Brandon spoke the press and bragged about his response to the balloon, saying:
“On Wednesday, when I was briefed on the balloon or in the Pentagon to shoot it down on one thing as soon as possible, they decided without doing damage to anyone on the ground. They decided that the best time to do that was when we got over water within our…12 mile limit..they successfully took it down”
Watch that here:

Predictably, Biden was shredded for the video on Twitter, with commenters saying things like:
His weakness will only make future provocations inevitable. Then, because it's a feedback loop, he'll try and act tough at the wrong moments causing even more provocations until the worse possible outcome is achieved.

Once China was able to gain all the info they needed. Makes sense.

Rest assured, America.
If our homeland is ever threatened by an imminent threat, Joe Biden will take action 5 days later!

Mission accomplished for China. They mapped us coast to coast, and Beijing Biden let them. And they tested our reaction time, and Beijing Biden failed

The balloon already picked up the necessary intel and transmitted it back to Xi by the time it was shot down.

Why wasn’t it shot down over the Aleutians before it could collect data all of the way across the country? This is literally like closing the barn door after the horse got out.

Completely after the damage was done, as if it accomplished anything. Absolute travesty this administration is

Also joining the Biden bashing was Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who posted a two-part attack on Biden, saying:
The Biden admin allowed the Chinese Spy Balloon to traverse the entire US and gather intel on our critical military infrastructure while the entire country screamed to shoot it down, before they finally shot it down.
Biden refused to stop China.

They can never again talk tough as they wage war on Russia in Ukraine as they have now proven they serve China.
Only weak men wage wars where they can’t be hurt but refuse to fight to protect our borders and our national security.
Biden serves China first and America Last.

Despite that, the balloon was allowed to drift across America and potentially capture data from sensitive sites it drifted near, such as the Minuteman ICBM silos in Montana and the B-2 bomber base in Missouri.
