WATCH: Chuck Schumer Gets Humiliated By Heckler In Hilarious Clip: ‘You’re A Loser!’
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) was met with some harsh words during his visit to the Dominican Day Parade in New York City. Amid the celebration of Dominican culture, music, and dance, Schumer’s presence was marred by an embarrassing confrontation.
The parade drew more than a million attendees eager to celebrate the Dominican Republic’s heritage and featured music and dancing. The parade is an annual event that usually takes place in August, featuring a procession along the Avenue of the Americas in Manhattan. Participants in the parade showcase traditional Dominican music, dance, and festive costumes, making it a lively and joyful occasion for both the Dominican community and the city at large.
As Schumer mingled with parade-goers on Sixth Avenue, a heckler, identified as DVS 7.0 on X, took the opportunity to express his displeasure with the senator’s political track record.
“Hey Chuck, you know the Americans actually hate your guts, right? Because you’re a scumbag, you know that, right? You ruined New York. You’re a loser. You’re a loser, buddy. You’re a loser,” the heckler said to his face.

As of late, New York City has been plagued by a surge in crime and an influx of illegal immigrants over the last couple of years. To add to his record, Schumer recently unveiled legislation aimed at reversing the Supreme Court decision that granted presidents legal immunity, particularly Donald Trump. The move sharpened the Democrat Party’s claim that democracy’s fate hung in the balance in the November elections.

However, Schumer has quietly emerged as a beneficiary of his party’s vice presidential selection. Minnesota Governor Tim Walz’s nomination as the Democratic vice presidential candidate safeguarded Schumer’s Senate Democratic caucus by avoiding a potential special election in a battleground state as reported by Axios. The decision also kept North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper, previously considered for the VP slot, available for a possible Senate run in 2026.
With Walz on the ticket, Democrats hope to boost their appeal in the Midwest. Democratic insiders are reportedly encouraging Schumer to recruit Cooper to challenge Sen. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) in the next election. On “CBS News Sunday Morning,” Joe Biden made a stunning revelation that he was nudged out of the presidential race by key Democrat figures, suggesting a behind-the-scenes maneuver that many suspected.
The move to step down was reportedly influenced by Democratic heavyweights including Schumer, who was allegedly worried about the repercussions of Biden’s candidacy on his colleagues’ electoral prospects. The internal push came in the wake of Biden’s contentious debate performance against former President Trump in late June, which many saw as detrimental to his campaign.

“Look, the polls we had showed that it was a neck-and-neck race. Would have been down to the wire,” Biden said. “But what happened was a number of my Democratic colleagues in the House and Senate thought that I was going to hurt them in the races.”
“And I was concerned if I stayed in the race, that would be the topic you’d be interviewing me about. Why did Nancy Pelosi say? Why did someone… and I thought it’d be a real distraction.”
