WATCH: CNN Panel Collectively Melts Down After Guest Clobbers Illegal Alien Narrative

A conservative CNN contributor left liberal panelists sputtering for excuses after blowing a hole in the widely repeated narrative that Americans aren’t willing to perform the jobs taken by illegal immigrants.

Batya Ungar-Sargon, a MAGA-aligned columnist with the Free Press, became the latest voice on CNN to call out Democrats and mainstream media purveyors for pushing the assumption that low-skilled job opportunities are being turned away by Americans. Her comments came while responding to concerns from celebrity Kim Kardashian about the impact that President Donald Trump’s mass deportation agenda would have on the U.S. workforce.

According to a CNN poll, fifty-four percent of Americans, and according to a CBS poll, fifty-seven percent of Americans, want every illegal migrant deported. It’s not a majority want the criminals, it’s a majority [for] every single one,” she said, referencing polls released earlier this week.

“That is the mandate that Donald Trump believes he was given. Immigration was the top reason people voted for him. Kim Kardashian hates him because she is rich,” she went on. “The people who employ those nannies — rich people are now the base of the Democratic Party, they are the employers of low-wage labor. They love illegal immigration because they get to pay their nanny less than they would have to pay an American. So, of course, they are very upset that their jobs program of an open border is coming to an end.”

More than 100,000 suspected illegal immigrants have been detained by immigration officials since the start of the second Trump administration, an astounding figure that has provoked protests and riots in recent days. The arrest of 150 suspected illegal immigrants outside a Home Depot in Los Angeles served as the catalyst for protests that have lasted nearly a week, and in some cases, veered into open violence against police officers.

“Working class people see this as a lifeline because they are still represented as a majority in every industry,” Ungar-Sargon added.

In recent weeks, a number of news outlets have cited dearths of workers in low-level industries, including agriculture, retail, and restaurant service. On the CNN panel, Democratic political consultant Karen Finney singled out the prevalence of Haitian migrants in Ohio as an example of new arrivals filling the void allegedly left by Americans.

“Do you know why those migrants were there? Because the factories that were there could not find anyone to take the jobs–”

“For those wages,” Ungar-Sargon interjected.

Finney tried again. “The working-class white people wouldn’t do the jobs.”

“For those wages,” repeated Ungar-Sargon, prompting Finney to sputter a weak defense.

“No no no. And so… they were looking for migrant labor,” she replied.

“Who they could pay much less,” Ungar-Sargon shot back, prompting the Democrat to shrug and look toward host Abby Phillip for help.

Phillip saw that her conservative guest had drawn the panel into a box.

“You’re suggesting, and I don’t think incorrectly, if they simply raised the wages more Americans would do the jobs. That is probably true.”
