WATCH: Crowd Roars When Trump Participates In Army-Navy Game Coin Toss
President Donald Trump received an exceptionally roaring burst of cheers from the crowd when he participated in the coin toss ahead of the 126th installation Army-Navy football game on Saturday.
The president has made a habit of attending the historic rivalry game during his time in politics. He first attended as president-elect in 2016 and with the exception of the following year, attended every matchup throughout his first term in office.
Trump arrived at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland via motorcade around 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time for pre-game festivities. He then made a grand entrance onto the field, introduced as the Commander-in-Chief, and was met with thunderous applause, cheers, and “USA! USA!” chants from the crowd of over 70,000, including cadets, service members, and fans.
Videos show him waving, smiling, and giving his signature fist pump as the stadium erupted.
The president then participated in the pregame coin toast mid-field, where he shook hands with captains from both teams. Upon being introduced by the referees, the crowd erupted into roaring cheers and applause. Chants of “USA, USA” were also heard in what was described as a “unanimously” positive reception.

During the pre-game national anthem, Trump stood at attention with his hand over his heart, saluting alongside thousands of uniformed service members. The president then moved to a suite overlooking the field, where he continued to wave at and greet service members and cadets in the section.
Since returning to office, President Trump has emphasized rebuilding military strength, pride, and recruitment successes. “Under the Trump administration, we are restoring the pride and the winning spirit of the United States military.”
He has also attended a number of high-profile sporting events since winning re-election last November, including the Daytona 500, the NCAA Wrestling Championships, Super Bowl LIX, the Ryder Cup, multiple UFC fights and more.
