WATCH: Democrats Humiliate Themselves With Painfully Cringeworthy Anti-DOGE Song
A group of Democrat lawmakers have become the subject of ridicule over their out of tune, painfully cringeworthy rendition of an anti-Elon Musk song during a protest in downtown Washington D.C. earlier this week.
Driven by vehement opposition to Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) initiative, Democrats have held a number of protests outside federal buildings in recent weeks. Musk’s team has been conducting audits of numerous departments, including education, defense and the vast network of federally-funded non-governmental agencies (NGO’s).
On Tuesday, activists at a “Save The Civil Service” rally, which was organized by the American Federation of Government Employees, sang an utterly painful rendition of the protest song “Which Side Are You In” while making sure to sub in lyrics referencing President Trump and Elon Musk.
“Tell me which side are you on? Which side are you on? We’ll fight against George. We’ll fight Elon Musk,” the group of activists sang out of tune. “No Elons kept within our walls. We’ll fight from dawn to dusk. Oh, which side are you on?” they continued.
“Trump’s coming for our unions. He wants us all to fail. He wants us to, to bow to him. But we want him in jail. Oh! Which side are you on? Which side are you on? Tell me which side are you on? Which side are you on? They say in the capital city there are no neutrals found. You’re either with the union or a scabby Musk bloodhound.”
Union leaders were joined by a number of Democratic Party leaders, including House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) and former House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer during Tuesday’s protest.
Jeffries told rally attendees that Musk’s cuts to the civil service were “unacceptable and unconscionable” and vowed to keep fighting “until each and every one of those unlawful executive orders are fully and completely reversed, buried in the ground, never to rise again.”
“We are standing in solidarity with each and every one of you during this incredibly fragile time,” he added.
Despite the fact that Musk’s team has already identified billions of dollars in wasteful federal spending, Democrats have made opposition to Musk a central theme of their efforts to thwart the Trump Administration. During a rally last week, far-left U.S. Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) called on supporters to take to the streets to oppose the Trump Administration by any means necessary.
We will see you in the courts, in Congress, in the streets,” the far-left congresswoman shouted before referring to Musk as a “Nazi nepo-baby.”
