During an interview with Steve Bannon at CPAC, Don Jr. gave a rousing explanation of why his father is the only one to take on the political establishment in 2024.

“Do you think President Trump has the energy and the focus to take on the [unintelligible] because every day they’re going to be trying to destroy him like they did in the first term,” Bannon said addressing Don Jr.

“Listen, he’s the only one that can do it,” Trump Jr responded, triggering applause from the crowd.

“He’s the only that didn’t need the job, he’s the only one that was independently successful enough that he’s not dependent on the big money donors on both sides. Because don’t forget, the republican donor class, the Republican side of big corporate is just as bad. They don’t want to do whats right for the American people,” he added.

Don Jr. then went on to explain that the American people need someone who wouldn’t bow down to conservative media or corporations.

“Donald Trump is the only guy to do that,” he argued.

According to two separate Emerson polls conducted in January 2024 and June 2022, Trump remains the favored candidate in the 2024 Republican Primary with a consistent 55% of the vote. Furthermore, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has experienced a decline in support, dropping from 29% to 25% in the past month. Former Vice President Mike Pence currently holds 8% of the vote, while former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley has 5%. Both Pence and Haley have seen an increase in support, each gaining two percentage points since the previous month.
