A local resident of East Palestine did not hold back on Joy Behar and ‘The View’ for their comments about voters for Trump in the region…

Ashley Bennett, who lives near the area that has faced much adversity after a train derailed causing ample amounts of toxic damage to surrounding places.

Bennett took to Fox and Friends to share her outrage over comments made by Joy Behar and ‘The View’ regarding Trump’s donations and assistance to East Palestine, Ohio after the disaster occurred.

“I don’t know why they would ever vote for him, because is somebody who, by the way, he placed someone with deep ties to the chemical industry in charge of the EPA’s chemical safety office. That’s who you voted for in that district: Donald Trump,” Behar said regarding the former President Trump’s response to the train derailment.

Those comments received fierce backlash from many including Bennett who shared her outrage with Fox News just Friday morning.

“It’s not time to play politics,” Ashley Bennett said to the Fox and Friends hosts.

“These people are real American people. They have names. Their children have names. Their pets have names,” Bennett went on to say criticizing The View hosts.

“I think that we need to set politics aside, and we really need to get the help in here for the people that need it,” Bennett added.

Ainsley Earhardt, the Fox and Friends host responded to Bennett’s outrage saying that Behar’s comments were inappropriate, especially considering all that the locals have been through.

This is just an evil thing to say. I would say I can’t fathom this level of cruelty and elitism but sadly… I can” on Twitter. Check out her comments below:
