WATCH: GOP Lawmaker Humiliates ‘Stalker’ Reporter After Loaded Question

U.S. Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) had a hilarious response to a loaded question about a debunked story from a “stalker” reporter on Capitol Hill.

The young reporter asked Burchett whether he trusted Trump’s national security team to keep the nation’s war plans secret, a question he has asked repeatedly this week. The reporter was speaking in reference to a debunked accusation that National Security Advisor Mike Waltz and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth shared classified information in a Signal with anti-Trump The Atlantic editor Jeffrey Goldberg, the architect of the debunked “suckers and losers” hoax.

The Trump Administration has proven that classified information was not shared in the chat, though mainstream media outlets and elected Democrats have tried to spin the incident into a major scandal.

Rep. Burchett’s “stalker” has also hopped on the “Signal-gate” train, though the congressman was not having it. “Do you trust Trump’s national security team to keep our war plans top secret?” the unidentified reporter asked Burchett.

“Do you trust your mother every night to fix your Hot Pockets and make sure your Game Boy is turned on?” the congressman responded while walking to the Capitol Building. The clip, titled “My stalker/tracker almost got me today,” has racked up more than 10 million views on X as of this report.

In a statement to the New York Post, the Tennessee lawmaker stated that the young reporter has been “tracking” him every day for about a year.“ It could be Soros, could be the Democrat party,” he said. “I don’t have a clue what his name is. I asked my Democrat friends, they don’t think much of him either.”

Burchett added that he has come to expect the encounters, though he has opted to troll the reporter rather than change up his route. In another clip uploaded earlier this week, the “stalker” again asked Burchett whether he trusts the Trump Administration to keep U.S. war plans safe. “I do — but I do not trust your wardrobe adviser,” the congressman told the young man earlier this week.
