WATCH: James Carville Suffers HILARIOUS Meltdown Over Trump’s Resurgence: ‘I Don’t Matter!’

James Carville was once known for his quick wit and political acumen. But in a viral video, the longtime Democratic strategist appeared at his wits’ end over Donald Trump’s growing influence. Carville blasted the shifting political attitudes and growing support for Trump, despite the lasting implications of the January 6th Capitol breach.

“Fewer people think January 6th was an assault on the temple of democracy,” Carville said, exasperated. “We’re throwing spaghetti at a wall, and none of it is sticking, me included.” Facing his 80th birthday, Carville admitted he feels powerless. “I don’t matter. It doesn’t matter,” he said in a video on X. “You can prepare, be on TV, write, have a YouTube channel, a podcast, and nothing.”

Frustrated with the current messaging strategies, Carville acknowledged the need for a fresh approach. “We’ve got to try to think of something different because what we’re doing is really not working.”

As Trump continues to solidify his support, Carville’s candid remarks capture a sense of urgency within the Democratic camp, desperate to develop a strategy that can compete against the former president’s enduring influence.

Often called the “Ragin’ Cajun,” Carville gained prominence as the lead strategist for Bill Clinton’s successful 1992 presidential campaign. He has been recognized for his political insight and has since been an influential voice in the Democratic Party. He frequently appears on television, offering political analysis and commentary, and is also a best-selling author and public speaker.

In April, Carville also melted down in dismay at the growing support of Trump, which led to another social media outburst. This came on the heels of a new CNN poll showing Trump widening his lead over Joe Biden.

“If they get a hold, there will be no government left, there’ll be no rights left, you’ll live under theocracy, you’ll end up in Christian nationalism,” Carville claimed. “But that’s alright, you little 26-year-old. You don’t feel like the election’s important to me. They’re not addressing the issues that I care about,” he said, his voice thick with sarcasm and frustration.
