WATCH: James Comer Reveals The ‘9 Bidens’ Of The Biden Crime Family
House Oversight Chair James Comer (R-KY) unveiled nine members of President Joe Biden’s family he claims are implicated in dealings on behalf of foreign companies seeking to gain influence in American government.
Reading from his podium, Rep. Comer named the president’s son Hunter Biden, the president’s brother, the brother’s wife, the widow of deceased son Beau, Hunter Biden’s current wife, and three children of the president’s son and another three of his brother.
“So we’re talking about a grandchild. That’s odd. Most people who work hard every day don’t get a wire from a foreign national,” quipped Rep. Comer.
WATCH:
Since taking control of Congress in January, House Republicans have probed the president’s family and associates for partnerships with Chinese corporations and those of other countries which paid millions in dollars to Hunter Biden and colleagues through various limited liability companies.
Bank records obtained by the Oversight Committee and released in a report Wednesday show payments going back 14 years to when President Biden first assumed the Office of the Vice Presidency under former President Barack Obama. Rep. Comer previously claimed that up to a dozen members of the family might have been involved in attempts to profit off their access to power in Washington.
The scope of involvement by members of the Biden family on its face seems likely to have been on the president’s radar, though House Republicans continue to search for concrete evidence of his involvement. The White House is bracing for what is expected to be a series of charges against Hunter Biden for lying about his taxes and a gun purchase, the latter of which is a felony.
Rep. Comer faces a make-or-break moment in his efforts to uncover misdeeds by the president and must meet his own standard in claiming the investigation is tied to President Biden. Democrats are already gearing up to dismiss the findings as politically motivated, with ranking Oversight Democrat Jamie Raskin (D-MD) declaring, “There’s a lot of innuendo and a lot of gossip taking place and much of it is recycled from prior claims.”
