On Tuesday, Joy Behar, co-host of ABC’s “The View,” confessed to being “turned on” by Joe Biden’s anger. This came in response to an Axios report that painted a picture of Biden’s fiery temper behind closed doors.
The report detailed how Biden, known for his public whispers and aviator sunglasses, transforms into a quick-triggered, volatile figure in private. His outbursts, often laced with expletives, have led some aides to avoid solo meetings with him, opting instead for a colleague as a shield against his wrath.
Fox News’ Lisa Kennedy, who has expressed disappointment with Biden’s administration, found the report intriguing. “[It] kinda turned me on when I heard that the president gets angry and volatile, I’m not gonna lie,” she said.
“[Kennedy’s] turned on by Biden’s anger – I am too. I like it,” Behar added.

The Axios report suggests that Biden’s temper is not an erratic tantrum but a form of intense interrogation. He grills aides until they falter, a routine some see as meticulous, while others dub it “stump the chump” or “stump the dummy.” This initiation by fire has become a rite of passage within the White House, with aides suggesting that if Biden doesn’t yell at you, it could be a sign he doesn’t respect you.
Ted Kaufman, Biden’s longtime chief of staff, defended the president’s approach as policy-driven, arguing that it has made him a strong executive. “If there is something that’s not in the brief, he’s going to find it,” Kaufman said. “It’s not to embarrass people, it’s because he wants to get to the right decision.”
In the end, whether one is “turned on” by Biden’s anger or turned off by it, the Axios report has certainly given us a more nuanced report of the man behind the aviator sunglasses.
They are propagandists. They have no principles and i pity anyone that looks to The View for their news and politics.
