WATCH: Joy Reid Goes INSANE, Laments Trump’s Efforts To Stop Anti-White Racism In Hilarious Meltdown
MSNBC host Joy Reid launched into an insane critique of what she described as former President Donald Trump’s agenda to combat what his advisors label “anti-white racism.” This comes on the heels of Trump’s upcoming speech in North Carolina, where he’s set to address economic issues—a crucial point of debate in the 2024 election race.
Known for her off-the-rails commentary, Reid took aim at Trump and his allies suggesting that their policies under the so-called “Project 2025” are a thinly veiled attempt to roll back racial progress in America. “Republicans like Vance and Trump advisor Stephen Miller, who is tangentially connected to Project 2025, have made it a point to block these disbursements,” Reid claimed.
She then peddled that the project’s goal is to “nationalize their long-term goal of putting a stop to what they call anti-white racism, which is just another way of saying we’re sick of America being held accountable for actual racism.”
According to Reid, the proposal would significantly alter the role of the Department of Justice, particularly the Civil Rights Division. “They would force the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division to refocus, moving away from affirmative discrimination and ensure, quote, ‘lawfulness’ which essentially means protecting the people who’ve had access and opportunity all along.”

The Presidential Transition Project, also known as Project 2025, kicked off in April 2022 without any ties to Trump’s campaign. In response to the Biden campaign’s strategies, Trump slammed the project, calling it “absolutely ridiculous and abysmal.” Project 2025 is detailed in a 900-page blueprint and was authored by the conservative Heritage Foundation.
Recently, Trump has distanced himself from the project, which has faced significant criticism during his latest White House bid. “I have no idea who is behind it,” the former president declared on social media.
Reid has long proclaimed falsehoods about her opponents, developing a reputation for unhinged rants and broadcast segments in which she goes off the rails. After former President Trump was shot, she even made the comparison that it was the “same” as when Joe Biden got COVID-19.
“These two men are both elderly,” Reid said during the RNC. “Donald Trump is an elderly man who, for whatever reason, was given nine seconds to take an iconic photo op during an active shooter situation. Weird situation, we’ll figure that out one day. But his survival of that and bouncing right back and going right to his convention is being conveyed in the media world as a sign of strength.”
WATCH:
“This current president of the United States is 81 years old and has COVID. Should he be fine in a couple of days? Doesn’t that convey exactly the same thing? That he’s strong enough, older than Trump, to have gotten something that used to really be fatal to people his age.”
“So if he does fine out of it and comes back and is able to do rallies, isn’t that exactly the same? I mean, it’s not exactly the same. It’s not the same incident, but it’s an elderly man coming through out of an illness. It should.”
