WATCH: Kamala Harris Attempts Horrendous Trump Impression
Former Vice President Kamala Harris debuted a horrendous impression of President Donald Trump while serving as a featured speaker at the National Action Network (NAN) 2026 Convention in New York City over the weekend.
The event, which is held over several days and moderated in part by NAN founder Rev. Al Sharpton, marked the organization’s 35th anniversary. Harris’s remarks came during an interview-style conversation with Sharpton on day three of the convention, where she took questions on the Trump Administration, her political future and more.
At one point during the conversation, Harris criticized President Trump’s foreign policy and compared him to a mafia boss. She then deployed a raspy, incoherent impression that sounded nothing like the president.
“He kind of, Rev, acts like a mob boss. So then he’s kind of like, ‘Well, you know. You take Eastern Europe and I’ll take the Western Hemisphere. And you over there, you take Asia and we will just divide it up among ourselves.’ Right?” Harris said while gesticulating before a “No Justice, No Peace” banner. “When he talks about America first, it’s to withdraw from these relationships and these connections. And then he kind of revs up.”

While on the campaign trail in 2024, Harris would frequently introduce new “accents” during speaking events.
During one campaign rally in Detroit, the then-vice president appeared to be channeling a soul preacher while speaking about organized labor. “You betta thank a union member for sick leave. You betta thank a union member for paid leave. You betta thank a union member for vacation time,” Harris, the child of wealthy parents of Jamaican and Indian heritage, who grew up in Canada, told the crowd.
While speaking to supporters in Georgia August 2024, Harris spoke in another spontaneous accent. “And you all helped us win in 2020, and we gon’ do it again in 2024,” the vice president declared with a southern twang.

Beyond the impression, Harris was asked whether she intends to run for president again in 2028. The former vice president has received favorable polling throughout the last year and a half, particularly in states crucial to the early portion of the Democratic Party primary.
“Well, that’s as subtle as Reverend Al Sharpton could ever be… I might. I might. I’m thinking about it,” Harris answered directly. “But let me say this… I served for four years being a heartbeat away from the presidency… I know what the job is… The status quo is not working… The American people have a right to expect… it can’t be about themselves… I’ll keep you posted.”
