WATCH: Kari Lake Eviscerates ‘Globalist’ Fox News, Spars With Piers Morgan
During Monday’s interview with Piers Morgan, former news anchor Kari Lake took aim at her former employer, Fox News, and accused them of pushing a “globalist agenda.” The interview quickly became heated, with Lake defending her views on gun control and Second Amendment rights.
Morgan brought up recent polls that showed overwhelming support for stricter gun control measures, including background checks and mental health assessments.
“87% of Americans back stricter background checks. 81% agree the legal age to buy a gun should be raised to 21. 80% agree that anyone who buys a gun should go through a mental health assessment. 80% want police to take guns from people who consider them a danger to themselves. 77% want a 30 day waiting period for all gun purchases,” he quoted.
But Lake was not swayed by the poll numbers. “Fox News is a globalist network pushing a globalist agenda and the globalists want to make sure,” she retorted.
“Fox News is watched by a lot of gun owners,” Morgan observed.
“Fox News is a globalist network run by globalists who want to bring down our constitution and take away our second amendment,” Lake responded.
“So everybody who took part in that independent poll is a globalist?” Morgan asked incredulously.
“No, but Fox News is a globalist network. Let’s just face it, we all know the truth here,” Lake said.
Morgan, however, defended Fox News as the biggest conservative network in the country. “I don’t think Fox News is a globalist network. It’s the biggest conservative network in the country,” he argued.
Despite the disagreement, Lake’s criticism of Fox News has resonated with many on the right. The network has faced increasing criticism from those who believe it has strayed from its conservative roots and become too focused on appealing to a broader, more mainstream audience.
As for Lake, she has not been shy about expressing her views on gun control and other hot-button issues. Her fiery rhetoric has earned her a loyal following among conservatives who see her as a champion for their cause. In the end, the debate between Lake and Morgan shows the deep divisions that exist within the conservative movement.

In spirit, all of the things in that poll are common sense things. What is not common sense is our government, or how they would implement the things in that survey. The minute you have laws that allow the government to do something without due process, its over.

Truth. I only watched Fox for Tucker, so now I don't watch them at all.
