WATCH: Ladies Of ‘The View’ Turn On Each Other In Heated Spat About Trump

The women of ‘The View’ didn’t hold back during a heated on-air spat over President-elect Donald Trump, with co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Ana Navarro locking horns in a tense exchange that showcased their different approaches to discussing his impending return to power.

The debate kicked off when Navarro criticized Trump, labeling him a self-declared “retribution” president and warning of the dangers she believes he poses. “I’m not going to wait and see,” Navarro insisted. “This guy has told us he’s a retribution. He’s going to be a dictator.”

Goldberg, however, pushed back, calling for patience and caution in addressing Trump’s political agenda. “There’s nothing to be done until you know what you’re fighting,” Goldberg argued. “Pissing in the wind doesn’t help—you just get a wet face.”

Navarro doubled down, dismissing the idea that Trump could change his ways at this stage in his life. “I have no false expectations that at 78, he’s going to all of a sudden turn into another human being,” she said, referencing Trump’s age. “I spent weeks telling people that he was apocalyptic. I’m not going to change.”

Goldberg countered by warning that over-the-top rhetoric could backfire, giving Trump’s supporters ammunition. “You lose credibility in many different ways,” Goldberg said. “If you don’t know what you’re talking about and you accuse him of something, then they’re going to blow it back. That’s why I say we need to wait and see.”

The fiery exchange comes as Trump prepares to assume office in January after his victory in the 2024 presidential election, a reality that has caused widespread debate on the Left over what his administration will look like.

While Navarro made it clear she remains deeply skeptical, Goldberg shockingly stressed the importance of watching and analyzing Trump’s actions before jumping to conclusions.

In true ‘View’ fashion, the discussion ended abruptly as Goldberg joked about needing to “pay the bills” before heading to a commercial break.
