WATCH: Liberal ‘Journalist’ Screams At Fellow CNN Guest After He Shoots Down ‘Nazi’ Hysteria

CNN anchor Abby Phillip had her work cut out for her during a recent panel where a liberal journalist screamed and nearly cursed on air while debating Scott Jennings about her allegation that Elon Musk secretly harbors Nazi beliefs.

Ruckus about Musk’s pre-inaugural remarks has continued since January 19th when, during a speech, he expressed his appreciation to a stadium crowd by placing his hand over his heart and extending his arm straight out and into the air. Critics decried the gesture as a Sieg Heil salute made infamous by Adolf Hitler, including Washington Post opinion columnist Catherine Rampell, who said on Monday that Musk has lost the “benefit of the doubt” when it comes to antisemitism.

“The first time that Elon Musk decides to declare that globalist Jews are responsible for the great replacement of brown people into the United States, maybe it was a misunderstanding,” she seethed. “The second time, you know, he said Jews are pushing hate against white people – that’s a quote – you know, that was a little iffy. By the second Sieg Heil, I think he kind of loses the benefit of the doubt to be not accused of playing footsie with these Nazis.”

Phillip turned to Jennings, noting the conservative commentator was rolling his eyes and sighing at some points during Rampell’s rant.

“We’ve moved on from Trump Derangement Syndrome to Elon Derangement Syndrome,” he started, but Rampell had already begun to lose it.

“Oh, I’m sorry, do you want to defend…” she shouted. As Phillip cut her off, the liberal opinion writer scornfully laughed and shrugged.

“I love this game where you talk for two minutes, and I talk for three seconds, and you freak out,” Jennings shot back.

Regarding Musk, “he has a long record of supporting the Jewish people,” Jennings continued. “Number two, anyone who is asserting that this thing he did on the stage the other day was a Sieg Heil, which I just heard you say – lawyer up, maybe, because it’s an absolutely ridiculous thing to say.”

Rampell blew her lid once more. “The Nazis in Germany thought it was a Sieg Heil!” she screamed before challenging Jennings, “Why don’t you do it on TV?”

Jennings, however, kept his cool. “Number three, I think it is fully appropriate – and I have been the strongest supporter on this network of the Jewish people since October the 7th…”

“Is that true?!” Rampell interrupted.

“I’m trying to finish my point. The people who are most concerned about, and who are all over Elon today, have had nary a word for the Nazis on college campuses who have gone crazy for the last year and a half.”

“That is bull! That is bull! That is bull!” Rampell screamed back while furiously pointing at Jennings.

As they work their way out of the political wilderness, Democrats and critics of the Trump administration have focused their fire on Musk, a polarizing billionaire who is frequently at the president’s side. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (D-NY) lost her mind over Musk last week, ripping into the Anti-Defamation League for agreeing that his on-stage gesture was not a Nazi salute.

“Just to be clear, you are defending a Heil Hitler salute that was performed and repeated for emphasis and clarity,” she sneered at the ADL on social media. “People can officially stop listening to you as any sort of reputable source of information now. You work for them. Thank you for making that crystal clear to all.”
