Former First Lady Melania Trump has released a new ad ahead of her highly anticipated memoir, which is set to be the first perspective shared by the former First Lady since her husband’s historic election in 2016.
The new ad follows a simple format of text on a screen, light music and a voiceover from the former First Lady. “The 2020 election results changed our lives forever. It impacted our quality of life, cost of food, gasoline, safety, and even the geopolitical landscape. America is more divided today than ever before,” Melania says.
“It has become increasingly apparent that there are significant challenges to free speech, as demonstrated by the efforts to silence my husband.”

A more in-depth ad for the new memoir features photos of the Trump family’s time in the White House, including her trips abroad and time spent with her children.
While Melania has largely stayed on the sidelines during her husband’s 2024 election bid, the former First Lady is set to share her life experiences for the first time in a “deeply personnel” memoir.
“Writing this memoir has been a deeply and reflective journey for me. As a private person who has often been the subject of public scrutiny and misrepresentation, I feel a responsibility to clarify the facts,” she said in the black and white video.
“I believe it is important to share my perspective: the truth,” Trump added.
“Melania” will be released by Skyhorse Publishing, which has published works from other notable Trump allies such as Rudy Giuliani and attorney Alan Dershowitz. Skyhorse has also worked with independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., while former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon has written forewords for a number of their productions.
After weeks of speculation over a release date, the former First Lady’s office announced that “Melania” is set to release on October 8.
