WATCH: Michael Cohen Loses It On Livestream, Reveals He Won’t Be Fleeing Country
A grouchy Michael Cohen appeared on his livestream last night to clarify he will not be fleeing the country following President-elect Donald Trump’s victory. However, the onetime Trump attorney turned government witness hardly got a word in as viewers covered his face with images of cooked turkeys and mustachioed cowboy hats.
Cohen, 58, appeared dejected as he sat in a gray t-shirt during his 10 p.m. broadcast, a platform he has monetized after claiming that his work on behalf of Trump and subsequent testimony has made him virtually unemployable. Typically, broadcasters earn a commission from platforms like TikTok and Twitch for engaging audiences above certain thresholds as well as allowing viewers to give virtual tips, offering them the chance to overlay the broadcast with emojis, animations, or other humorous interjections. In Cohen’s case, he was subjected to the turkey treatment.

“Can we stop with that?” he asked as viewers paid to place a virtual turkey around his head. “I appreciate that. I don’t like the stupid turkeys. Alright? Let’s just knock that stupid s*** off please.” Cohen tried to move on and denied he had plans to leave the U.S. following Trump’s win on Tuesday. “I said I was leaving, and then the following day — get that through your dumb heads! — the following day, I turned around and I said there’s no chance in the world that I’m leaving my country, thank you very much, alright? I’m not leaving anywhere. You leave! It’s my country.”
Before he could go on, the turkey silhouettes reappeared. “I have every single right within which to turn around — would you stop so we can… in two seconds I’m going to end up blocking this idiot,” he grumbled.

It was quite a fall from grace for an ex-attorney who at the height of his notoriety promised to expose President Trump as a scofflaw who illegally paid off Stormy Daniels to win the White House. Cohen’s testimony was critical to securing 34 felony convictions against the former president, but earlier this week Manhattan Judge Juan Merchan let it be known that he was considering a dismissal of the case on the grounds of presidential immunity. Cohen, now consigned to live-streaming for cash, may soon have nothing to show for his cooperation with Democratic District Attorney Alvin Bragg.
Cohen was previously sentenced to three years in federal prison for concealing income while working on Trump’s behalf. He was disbarred by the state of New York and in 2021 emerged from prison as a caustic anti-Trumper, publishing a tell-all memoir about his time as the top enforcer for the Trump Organization. The president-elect has accused Cohen of being a liar and disgruntled former employee. He maintains that the payment to Daniels was protected by immunity as an official act during his first term.
