Never before seen footage January 6 obtained by John Solomon of Just The News shows then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) evacuating the Capitol building in dramatic fashion while her daughter, Alexandra Pelosi, filmed with a documentary crew.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) announced earlier this week that January 6 footage would be given to journalists who have been covering the fallout, including John Solomon and Julie Kelly.
On Thursday, Solomon released footage that shows Pelosi and a number of staffers nonchalantly passing through a safe corridor as the “attack” Democrats have compared to Pearl Harbor and 9/11 was taking place. Alexandra Pelosi, who has produced a number of documentary films, can be seen filming her mother as the group moved through the building.
“She does whatever she wants,” U.S. Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-NY) told Solomon upon the release of the footage. “All this nonsense about ‘Oh January 6, she was so threatened.’ Well, she’s so threatened and rushing out of the building that her daughter is filming her? Everything is a made-for-TV movie, and it’s about fundraising and it’s about power,” she added.
U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor-Greene (R-GA) highlighted that Pelosi ignored requests for increased law enforcement or national guard troops on January 6 and “used the situation” for personal profit and political gain.
“This was a political narrative,” the Georgia congresswoman told Solomon. “What everyone just saw in this video, is they used the situation. They totally threw out the ability to hide exits for security reasons in the Capitol, and they used that situation to film it, so that their family could make millions of dollars later by selling the video footage in a documentary,” she went on to say.
“I believe that is one of the most abusive things and the biggest sign of corruption that the American people have seen thus far, and I know you’re going to show them a-lot more,” Taylor-Greene told Solomon.
