WATCH: NYC Mayor Blasts Democrats for Trump-Hitler Comparisons On ‘The View’
In a heated segment on ‘The View,’ New York City Mayor Eric Adams pushed back against Democrats comparing former President Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler, framing such rhetoric as harmful to national unity. Adams, a Democrat, refused to single out Trump despite pointed questions from co-host Joy Behar, instead urging leaders across the political spectrum to lower the intensity of political discourse.
“Let’s love the country. Let’s love our cities,” Adams started. “Let’s get away from the rhetoric of the professionalism that we know. Those are experts in this. They’re going to look at his proposal, do a real analysis, and make these decisions. It happens every day.”
“We’ve reached a point in this country where we no longer want to engage in conversation. They were even calling him Hitler,” Adams continued. “That was an insult to the millions of Jews and others who died. We know what Hitler did.”
Adams also referenced broader societal tensions, citing his interactions with young people in New York. “When I’m on the streets talking to my young people who [are] wearing Hamas signs and calling for the destruction of groups, I said we have to bring down this rhetoric.”
WATCH:
Democratic strategies that likened former President-elect Trump to Adolf Hitler have not only been outlandish but also counterproductive, potentially contributing to their electoral defeat.
Liberal news sites have long demonized the implications of Trump’s rhetoric. In October, one month before the election, ‘The Atlantic’ wrote a hit piece titled, ‘Trump Is Speaking Like Hitler, Stalin, and Mussolini.’ They claimed Trump praised Hitler, allegedly saying “I Need the Kind of Generals That Hitler Had.”
Despite facing significant criticism and controversial comparisons during his campaign, Trump’s ability to secure both the popular vote and the Electoral College indicates that such tactics did not prevent his electoral success—culminating in 312 electoral votes to Harris’s 226.
Adams currently faces serious his own legal scrutiny, charged with bribery, wire fraud, and conspiracy. These federal charges claim that Adams took luxury gifts and illegal campaign contributions from Turkish nationals for political favors. Trump has publicly decried the charges against Adams as prosecutorial overreach, drawing parallels to his own legal predicaments and fueling debate about the motivations behind these high-profile indictments.

It drives the ladies of The View insane when they can’t push the narrative of one of their guests to where they want it to go.
I’m not a fan of Adams but I give him credit here

Mayor Adams has been red-pilled. He is one of the few Democrat Mayors who hasn’t come out and said they won’t help Trump carry out mass deportations.
