WATCH: Rand Paul Catches Moderna CEO In Apparent Lie; “I Spoke With Your President Last Week”

On Wednesday, Moderna CEO Stephane Bancel was called to testify about the company’s rising vaccine cost. During the meeting, Sen. Rand Paul and Bancel had a heated exchange on the COVID vaccine causing myocarditis, a medical condition that refers to inflammation of the heart muscle.

Paul asked, “You’re saying that for ages 16 to 24 among males who take the COVID vaccine, their risk of myocarditis is less than people who get the disease?”

“That is my understanding,” Bancel replied.

“That is not true!” Paul said.

The senator slammed Bancel saying, “I also spoke with your president just last week, and he readily acknowledged in private that, yes, there is an increased risk of myocarditis. The fact that you can’t say it in public is quite disturbing.”

Paul, like so many others, is concerned about Big Pharma’s true intentions and their transparency. There have been reports of myocarditis and pericarditis occurring in a number of people who received the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. The cases have primarily been observed in males under the age of 30, and most have occurred after the second dose of the vaccine.
