During a Sunday morning appearance on CNN, anti-America Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar said she “wasn’t aware” there were antisemitic tropes regarding “Jews and money” when she made comments that have been cited by Kevin McCarthy as the main reason she was ousted from the House Foreign Affairs committee.
“I might have used words at the time that I didn’t understand were trafficking in anti-semitism,” she began. “When that was brought to my attention, I apologized. I owned up to it. That’s the kind of person that I am. And I continue to work with my colleagues and my community to fight against anti-semitism. I certainly did not or was not aware that the word hypnotized was a trope. I wasn’t aware of the fact that there are tropes about Jews and money. That has been a very enlightening part of this journey. To insinuate that I knowingly said these things when people have read into my comments to make it sound as if I have something against the Jewish community is so wrong,” she claimed.

“To insinuate that I knowingly said these things, when people have read into my comments to make it sound as if I have something against the Jewish community, is so wrong,” she added.
Despite claiming that she isn’t Anti-Semitic, Rep Omar was actually voted “Anti-Semite Of The Year” in 2019 by StopAntiSemitism.org.
In a video about Omar, StopAntisemitism.org stated that Omar has “accused American Jews of having dual loyalties” and “ranted about the influence Jews allegedly buy with their money.”
