WATCH: Pardoned J6 Protester Confronts Cops Who Testified Before Committee: ‘F***ing Cowards’

A tense moment occurred when former Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio, who was sentenced to 22 years in federal prison by the Biden Department of Justice despite the fact that he did not even enter the Capitol Building on January 6, confronted Capitol Police officers who served as witnesses for Nancy Pelosi’s January 6 Committee.

Tarrio was sentenced to 22 years in prison in 2023 after he was convicted of “seditious conspiracy” in a controversial trial. The Proud Boys leader was convicted by a D.C. jury, as federal judges repeatedly refused change of venue motions despite the fact that more than 90 percent of D.C. residents vote Democrat and are biased against President Trump and his supporters.

In Tarrio’s case, Judge Timothy Kelly agreed with Biden Department of Justice prosecutors that Tarrio’s actions constituted “terrorism” despite the fact that he did not even enter the Capitol Building.

Present at Tarrio’s sentencing was former Capitol Police Officer Michael Fanone, who served as a witness for the partisan January 6 Committee. He has since became a mainstay on MSNBC and CNN, where he routinely labels the president and his supporters as “traitors.”

On Saturday, Tarrio and pro-Trump attorney Ivan Raiklin confronted Fanone and his fellow January 6 “celebrity cop” Harry Dunn at a Washington D.C. hotel. Raiklin asked the two men if they’d like to have lunch in order to discuss January 6 and their numerous statements about defendants, though both men declined as they made their way to an elevator.

“You guys are a**holes, so please just back off,” an unidentified woman said while Fanone and Dunn continued to walk towards the elevator. “You know who’s an a**hole? Somebody that sits in my sentencing and laughs while I got sentenced to 22 years. That’s an a**hole,” Tarrio then exclaimed in the direction of Fanone.

“You were brave on Twitter, and you thought you were brave at my sentencing when you laughed when I got 22 years. And now you don’t wanna look my way and pretend I’m not here, right?” Tarrio continued, at which point an irate Fanone briefly turned around before he continued to walk.

Tarrio continued implore Fanone to look him in the eyes, at which point Fanone started shouting that Tarrio was a “traitor to this country.”

“You fu**ing coward. You were a coward that day, you were a coward after, and you’re another coward,” Tarrio shot back, making sure to include Dunn. The two then continued to shout at each other while hotel staff told security to eject Tarrio. Fanone then continued to shout expletives as he was physically dragged into the elevator by his entourage.

“If that’s how they act when it’s a calm environment, imagine how they acted on January 6,” Raiklin said after the incident. “They were the ones that were the trigger pullers. They were the ones that incited, instigated. These are unstable men. And that’s why January 6 played out the way it did, because they’re not able to contain themselves and control their emotions.”

Fanone has indeed had a number of emotional outbursts since President Trump’s election victory in November. During a recent conversation with CNN’s Anderson Cooper, Fanone lashed out at Trump supporters for “betraying” him, adding that he no longer feels he can be protected by law enforcement. “Thanks America,” a stone-faced Fanone told Cooper. “This feels like a betrayal to you?” the host then followed up.

“I have been betrayed by my country. Rest assured I have been betrayed by my country and I have been betrayed by those that supported Donald Trump. Whether you voted for him because he promised these pardons or for some other reason, you knew that this was coming and here we are,” the January 6 committee witness responded.

In a disturbing post-election interview with the Washington Post, Fanone suggested that he will be hiding out in the mountains as a result of Trump’s victory. “Better f***ing arm yourselves,” Fanone told The Post while taking a sip of beer.

Fanone went on to explicitly state that he would rather be “killed in a shootout,” according to Washington Post reporter Kara Voght,  rather than subject himself to arrest by federal officers if he is investigated by the Trump Department of Justice.
