WATCH: The View Squabbles Over Trump’s Announcement to Run in 2024

The women on “The View,” an ABC daytime talk show, did not like the fact that former President Donald Trump has said he will run for president again.

The fact that the former president made his announcement on Tuesday at Mar-a-Lago made the co-hosts very angry. Joy Behar made fun of the fact that the tone of the announcement wasn’t as intense as his rallies. She said that he “looked like he was about to fall asleep” and compared him to a “defeated Mussolini.”

It was so sad. My heart breaks for poor Donald… Not!” she blurted.

Anna Navarro said that the former president should be taken seriously and that he should be defeated again. Behar shouted, “Yeah! Yeah!”

We beat [Trump] once. We can beat him twice if we have to,” she blared. “Under no circumstance can Americans get exhausted and not fight hard as hell so this guy is nowhere near the presidency ever, ever, ever again.”

Sunny Hostin joined in, just like the rest of the media. She said that he was a “twice impeached, disgraced, almost indicted former president” and that she hoped he would be charged with a crime.

Donald Trump, who was president before, said on Tuesday night that he will run for president again in 2024. The 45th president also sent his paperwork to the Federal Election Commission. This ended months of rumors and guesses that he would run for the White House a third time.

My fellow citizens, America’s comeback starts right now.” Trump told a cheering crowd at Mar-a-Lago that he was running for president of the United States “to make America great and glorious again.” He added that he would “fight like no one has ever fought before.”

Our country could not take four more years,” he continued. “They can only take so much. I am running because I believe the world has not yet seen the true glory of what this nation can be. We have not reached that pinnacle, believe it or not.”

Soon after Trump made his announcement, Republican Kari Lake from Arizona went on Twitter to show her support for him. “He has my complete and total endorsement!”
