WATCH: Trump, Elon Dance To ‘YMCA’ At Mar-A-Lago Thanksgiving

Elon Musk and President-elect Donald Trump put on a show Thursday, joining forces at Mar-a-Lago to dance the “YMCA.”

Musk, dubbed by media as the “First Buddy” of the second Trump administration, was in West Palm Beach to celebrate the holiday with Trump and his friends and family, a moment captured on video by attendees who couldn’t believe their eyes when the two men got up and danced to the 1978 hit. In a video shared by Musk on X, the entrepreneur can be seen seated with Trump at a table doing a jig along to the Village People, one of Trump’s favorite anthems that was frequently played along the campaign trail. Trump smacks the table in time with the drums before Musk throws his hands overhead to spell out the Y-M-C-A letters.

The duo’s roped-off table was part of a Thanksgiving celebration that saw other pro-Trump celebrities like Sylvester Stallone join in on the fun. Members of the Trump clan were spread throughout the room, including former First Lady Melania Trump, daughter-in-law Lara Trump and son Eric Trump, and Trump’s daughter Tiffany. Musk’s mother, Maye, was also present for part of the night.

The New York Post reported that the event came just several hours after President-elect Trump posted a tongue-in-cheek holiday message ribbing his opponents for losing yet another election to him. “Happy Thanksgiving to all, including to the Radical Left Lunatics who have worked so hard to destroy our Country, but who have miserably failed, and will always fail, because their ideas and policies are so hopelessly bad that the great people of our Nation just gave a landslide victory to those who want to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” he wrote. “Don’t worry, our Country will soon be respected, productive, fair, and strong, and you will be, more than ever before, proud to be an American!” he added.

Sources have told the outlet that Trump counts Musk, the mercurial founder of SpaceX and Tesla, to be among his most trusted advisors following a decisive win. The South Africa-born entrepreneur invested tens of millions of dollars into get-out-the-vote efforts for Trump in key swing states, an effort that paid off when the Republican swept all seven. Despite having a whole transition team, Trump has reportedly run nearly every single Cabinet selection by Musk, underscoring how powerful the X owner will be in shaping the contours of the Trump-Vance administration.
