WATCH: Trump Touts Biggest Accomplishments In First 100 Days At Michigan Rally

President Donald Trump celebrated the conclusion of his first 100 days in office with a rally in Macomb County, Michigan on Tuesday, where he listed a number of his most significant accomplishments to date.

The president and senior members of his administration marked the occasion with a joint press conference from White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. Trump also delivered a speech to members of the Michigan National Guard.

At the rally, Trump touted mass deportations, ongoing trade negotiations and the abolition of a number of Biden era directives, including Diversity, Equity and Inclusion policies at the federal level, as some of the most important accomplishments thus far.

“Removing the invaders is not just a campaign pledge,” Trump said. “It’s my solemn duty as commander-in-chief. I have an obligation to save our country.”

The president repeatedly criticized former President Biden over his disastrous open borders policy, which allowed more than 10 million illegal aliens to enter the country over four years. Illegal border crossings have since declined by an astonishing 99 percent over Trump’s first 100 days, which has brought an end to the previous administration’s “catch and release” policies that saw illegal aliens released into the U.S. interior.

“President Trump has achieved the most secure border in American history,” Stephen Miller, the president’s deputy chief of staff, told the crowd. “He’s fighting violent crime. He’s fighting the drug cartels. He’s cutting your taxes. He’s cutting wasteful spending. “He’s draining the swamp. He’s standing up to the radical left. He’s standing up to the communists. And he’s making America stronger than it’s ever been. President Trump will never stop fighting for you, your children, and your family.”

While addressing the Michigan National Guard, Trump once again put Governor Gretchen Whitmer on the spot by asking her to say a few words. The Democrat governor and rumored presidential hopeful previously tried to hide from the cameras when Trump asked her to say a few words during an Oval Office meeting earlier this month.

“Well, I hadn’t planned to speak,” Whitmer said after taking the stage.

“But on behalf of all the military men and women who serve our country and serve so honorably on behalf of the state of Michigan, I am really damn happy we’re here to celebrate this recapitalization at Selfridge. It’s crucial for the Michigan economy. It’s crucial for the men and women here, for our homeland security and our future. So thank you.”

Whitmer’s appearance came just hours after Trump announced new fighter jet mission for an Air National Guard Base in Michigan.

Overall, Trump referred to his first 100 days in office as one of the most aggressive and accomplished in American history.

“We’re here tonight in the heartland of our nation to celebrate the most successful first 100 days of any administration in the history of our country, and that’s according to many, many people,” he said.

“This is the best, they say, 100-day start of any president in history. And everyone is saying it. We’ve just gotten started. You haven’t even seen anything yet. It’s all just kicking in,” the president added.
