“We also have a very important member of my family. Far more important than Eric or Lara,” Trump joked. “And her name is Carolina.”

“And she’s beautiful and she’s sweet and she doesn’t know how evil life is,” he added. “Can I ask Carolina to come up? Is that possible?” Trump then pivoted off stage and emerged moments later with his five-year-old granddaughter in his arms.

Carolina then delivered a brief message to the crowd, saying “Make American Great Again” on the advice of her grandfather.

The message was a hit with both the crowd and the former president, the latter of whom gave his granddaughter a congratulatory kiss on the cheek before she exited the stage.

Moments later, Trump introduced Luke before inviting him onto the stage. “Would anybody like to meet Luke? Her brother? Luke, come on up,” he said while motioning to his seven-year-old grandson.

“Vote for grandpa!” Luke exclaimed, once again drawing enthusiastic applause and cheers from the crowd.

While exiting the stage, the seven-year-old idled at the top of the steps for a brief moment. “Oh, he doesn’t want to get off the stage,” Trump joked. Oh, wow. Look at that. He’s got the gene.”

The former president further revealed that he told his grandson to say something else. “I said, ‘say, MAGA.’ He said, ‘Vote for Grandpa’  He didn’t care what I said,” the Republican nominee said. “And that was actually much better, right? Thanks Luke.”
