Tucker Carlson predicted that President Joe Biden would wage war with Russia in order to get re-elected in 2024. “There will be a hot war between the United States and Russia in the next year, ” declared Carlson, speaking on comedian Adam Carolla’s podcast. Carlson painted a scene where due to economic problems manifesting themselves, Biden will seek to divert the public’s attention to Russia in an effort to preserve his own power and avoid the prospect of being indicted himself.
“I think the lies are unsustainable…these lies are very obvious and stupid that it is going to be clear to the majority of voters before the election that the Biden administration has no idea what it is doing, that Joe Biden is not running the government, and that it is not working at all. I think by that point we are going to have a real economic contraction. I think we are going to be in the teeth of a very tough recession and that makes everything much more intense,” said Tucker.
Carlson continued, “If your goal is to maintain power and if you think once you relinquish power…-the problem with criminalizing politics is that the people who do it imagine or know it will be done to them. So once you start indicting your political opponents you know that you have to win or else they are going to indict you if they win…So they can’t lose. They will do anything to win. So how do they do that?…they are going to go to war with Russia…there will be a hot war between the United States and Russia in the next year.”

Carlson added, “I don’t think we will win it but that is a separate analysis. But I think as a political matter, they need to declare war footing in order to assume war powers in order to win [the election]. I believe that…I think that could easily happen. I think we can Tonkin Gulf our way into it…if you are worried about that you need to put as much pressure as you can on the Republican held Senate [House?] to force a peace, which can be done…We are the only power in the world that can bring both sides to the table to force a peace.”
Carlson described the international situation of the United States being that of an “empire” in “freefall”. Carlson opined how this situation with Ukraine was damaging our Western Europe allies. “We only have one real ally [in the world] and that is Western Europe and Western Europe is being destroyed by this. The German economy was crushed when the Biden administration blew up Nord Stream.”
