During Wednesday’s episode of “The View,” co-host Whoopi Goldberg made some astonishing and dramatic claims about former President Donald Trump. Goldberg, known for her often controversial remarks, suggested that Trump would take extreme measures against journalists and the LGBTQ+ community if he were to be re-elected.

“I’m gonna be on day one, I’m gonna be a dictator!” Goldberg impersonated, claiming what Trump would do. “I’m gonna put you people away. I’m gonna take all the gay folks, I’m gonna move you all around and disappear you.”

The remarks, laden with hyperbole, were directed at a hypothetical scenario of Trump’s return to power. Goldberg went as far as to imply that Trump’s potential leadership would result in the eradication of future elections and a dictatorial regime.

Adding to the drama, Liz Cheney, a notable critic of Trump within the Republican Party, was present on the show. Cheney’s appearance seemed to blend seamlessly with the show’s pattern of entertaining anti-Trump rhetoric.

“Because if he ever gets in again, we’ll never have any more elections,” Goldberg continued. “There will be no more. He will stop it. And he’s very clear about that. He wants to be dictator for life.”
