Wild Video Shows Country Star Attacked by Fan
A crazed fan bum-rushed country music star Gavin Adcock on stage this week, leading to a scuffle with security in a viral video capturing the bedlam.
Adcock, no stranger to controversy, posted a clip of the encounter on his Instagram page, writing, “What happens when you jump the barricade at a country concert.”
The spectator, who appeared intoxicated, jumped a security gate to approach the 26-year-old singer, forcing his security team to tackle the individual. Adcock was in the middle of encouraging his audience to sing during one of his hit songs when the incident occurred.
As security guards rushed the fan away, Adcock can be heard in the video yelling, “Get his drunk a** outta here!”
Beneath the video, Adcock poked fun at the moment, interacting with fans in the comments section while joking that the man was an angry Beyoncé fan. Earlier this summer, Adcock mocked the pop singer for her country-themed album “Cowboy Carter.”
Beyoncé’s album landed higher on the country music charts than Adcock’s debut album, titled “My Own Worst Enemy,” which seemed to instigate the feud.
The Single Ladies singer’s album debuted at the No. 3 spot on Apple’s Country Music Chart, while Adcock’s album came in just behind at No. 4.

In an Instagram video, Adcock slammed Beyoncé’s entry into country music.
“One of them’s Beyoncé — you can tell her we’re coming for her f***ing a**!” he said in a vulgar tirade. “That s**t ain’t country music and it ain’t ever been country music, and it ain’t gonna be country music.”
He later offered some compliments to Beyoncé, calling her 2016 Super Bowl halftime performance “pretty kicka** back in the day” but double down on his assertion that her album “shouldn’t be labeled as country music.”
“It doesn’t sound country, it doesn’t feel country,” he continued. “I just don’t think that people who have dedicated their whole lives to this genre and this lifestyle should have to compete or just watch that album stay at the top just because she’s Beyoncé.”
Video of Adcock’s brush with a deranged fan prompted Beyoncé’s online fanbase, dubbed the Beyhive, to attack him in the comments section, accusing the singer of benefiting from white privilege.
“Sounds about [white], when y’all can’t compete, y’all try to exclude, that’s the MO,” one Instagram user wrote.
“Post Malone did the same thing she did, what’s the difference?” another challenged.
Adcock exploded onto the country music scene in 2024. He was arrested in May 2025 after being caught with an open container of alcohol while driving recklessly on Interstate 40, the Daily Mail reported.
