Woke Band EXPOSED In Lie After Claiming Trump Didn’t Have Permission To Use Song

At Friday’s rally in Arizona, former President Donald Trump introduced Robert F. Kennedy Jr. onstage just hours after Kennedy suspended his independent presidential campaign. The event filled with political drama was later heightened by a controversy involving the use of the Foo Fighters’ song “My Hero” during Kennedy’s stage entrance.

Set in Phoenix, the rally drew loads of attention as it featured the political alliance between Trump and Kennedy. As Kennedy walked onto the stage, the iconic track “My Hero” played, generating an electric reaction from the crowd. However, this choice of music quickly sparked a dispute.

The historic rally came just hours after Kennedy suspended his presidential campaign during a scheduled event in Phoenix. In a lengthy speech, Kennedy thanked volunteers before announcing that he would be suspending his campaign in swing states, though he did note that he intends to stay on the ballot in solid blue or solid red states.

Following the rally, a post on X from a user asked the Foo Fighters if they had allowed Trump to use their song for Kennedy’s introduction. The band’s response was a straightforward “No,” followed by a clarifying statement, “Let us be clear.” This indicated that they had not permitted the song’s use at the event, contradicting the atmosphere of endorsement the song might have suggested. “Foo Fighters were not asked permission, and if they were, they would not have granted it,” a representative also told Entertainment Weekly.

In response, Trump’s campaign clarified that they had legally obtained the rights to use the song through BMI’s Songview service, which licenses music for public performances. This was supported by documents that The Independent reviewed, confirming the licensing arrangement. A campaign spokesperson said, “We have a license to play the song,” suggesting that their use of the track was legally justified despite the band’s objections.

A spokesperson for the Foo Fighters told the outlet, “Foo Fighters were not asked permission, and if they were, they would not have granted it.” The Foo Fighters later announced that any royalties received from the rally’s use of “My Hero” would be donated to the Harris/Walz campaign.

Kennedy’s entrance was met with chants of “Bobby, Bobby” and “USA” before former Trump listed a number of policy platforms he would be adopting from the Kennedy Campaign. “Soon after I was, I can’t even believe I have to say this, nearly assassinated in Pennsylvania last month, Bobby called me to express his best wishes. He knows firsthand the risks incurred by leaders who stand up to the corrupt political establishment. When you stand up, you bring on some trouble for yourself, but you have to do what’s right,” Trump told the crowd.

“He lost his father and uncle in service to our country, and Bobby himself was subject to repeated threats to his safety during the course of his campaign while being denied protection by the Harris-Biden administration. And this is a tribute in honor of Bobby. I am announcing tonight that upon my election, I will establish a new independent presidential commission,” the former president continued, adding that the commission will be tasked with releasing all documents relating to the Kennedy assassination.

An emotional Kennedy proceeded to disavow the modern iteration of the Democrat Party, the party of his father and uncle, President John F. Kennedy. RFK Jr. stated that his uncle and father would be disgusted with the current Democratic Party and their means of attaining and holding power, noting that Vice President Harris has yet to sit for a single interview or press conference in more than 30 days.

“As you know, I left that party in October because it had departed so dramatically from the core values that I grew up with. It had become the party of war, censorship, corruption, big pharma, big tech, big [agriculture], and big money,” the former Democrat said. “It abandoned democracy by canceling the primary to cancel the cognitive decline of the sitting president.” In a memo shared shortly after the endorsement, the campaign shared data showing a majority of Kennedy voters breaking for Trump in every swing state.
