WWE Legend Tyrus Nearly Tears Up In Emotional Interview With Trump

on

Former professional wrestler Tyrus, a Fox News contributor, got a bit teary-eyed while conducting an interview with former President Donald Trump. During the conversation, Tyrus spoke about their first meeting on the set of fellow Fox News host Greg Gutfeld’s late-night program.

After the show, Trump spoke with Tyrus, his wife, and his daughters. During this friendly chat, the Fox News host and larger-than-life pro wrestler noted how Trump talked with his children as if he were their own grandfather, discussing his daughter’s horses and her personal dreams and aspirations. Tyrus states it was that moment when everything fell into place for him. He understood then, he says, that Trump fights for family, after previously voting for him due to his “policies” only. He even apologized for his previous misjudgment of Trump.

The heartwarming clip captures only one of many great moments that took place during the interview. The two men also had a conversation concerning economic and financial matters, which led to Trump opening up about his private life in ways he previously never had.

It was during the 30-minute conversation that Tyrus proposed that Trump, should he win the presidency next month, should do something with his tax policy that would be beneficial to both military and law enforcement personnel.

“Would you consider thinking about, for our veterans, for those who serve, for those of our police department, to where their taxation is giving their bodies to this country, instead of having to pay taxes? None of these cities want to give them raises, so at least let them keep their money,” Tyrus asked according to Law Officer.

“You know,” Trump replied to Tyrus, “I’ve never heard that before and it’s a very interesting thing. It’s the kind of thing you would think of because they have been treated so terribly.”

The host then said, “It’s gonna take more than a hug. … It’s almost an incentive where you can get people interested.”
