‘Yellowstone’ Co-Stars Get Married In Cowboy-Themed Wedding
“Yellowstone” co-stars Ryan Bingham and Hassie Harrison have taken their on-screen romance into real life, celebrating their union with a cowboy-themed wedding. Known for their roles in the hit TV series, the couple’s nuptials mirrored the show’s rugged aesthetic.
The couple’s journey to the altar began serendipitously, thanks to a proactive push from Hassie’s mother. At a charity event in Dallas, she met Ryan and discovered the many connections he shared with her daughter. Sensing a potential match, she encouraged Ryan to reach out to Hassie.
Hassie shared with Vogue, “Our story is thanks to my mom. She and Ryan met by chance through a mutual friend at a charity event in Dallas during a production break. I wasn’t there, but it just happened to be during a time when both Ryan and I were transitioning into new chapters of our lives. They got to talking and discovered just how many Texas-based friends and acquaintances we had in common—so sensing an opportunity, she encouraged Ryan to give me a call.”
Ryan Bingham, the singer-songwriter and actor, is known for his blend of country, rock, and folk music. He gained significant fame for his song “The Weary Kind,” which was part of the soundtrack for the 2009 film Crazy Heart and won an Academy Award for Best Original Song. Meanwhile, Harrison is recognized for her roles in television series like Tacoma FD and Yellowstone. She has also appeared in various films and other TV shows, building a solid career in the entertainment industry.

“Ryan had been unusually quiet all night, and I could see he was visibly nervous—which was out of character for him,” Hassie told the outlet. “Then, out of nowhere he broke the silence and said, ‘I want to ask you to marry me, but only if you say yes.’ I didn’t hesitate a moment before telling him I would. It’s true what they say—when you know, you just know.” The engagement was solidified with a more formal proposal later, complete with wine and a home-cooked meal, sealing their commitment in an intimate, personal setting.

Yellowstone, the popular American TV drama series the two star in premiered in 2018, and is centered around the conflicts along the shared borders of a large cattle ranch, an Indian reservation, land developers, and Yellowstone National Park. Bingham plays the character of Walker, a former prisoner who becomes a ranch hand at the Dutton family’s Yellowstone Ranch. Walker is notable for his singing and guitar playing, often bringing a musical element to the scenes he appears in. Harrison is known for her role as Laramie, a barrel racer and ranch hand in the popular television series. She joined the show during its third season in 2020 and has become a key part of its cast.

When it came to planning their wedding, the couple aimed for a celebration that was deeply personal and reflective of their Texan roots. The event took place at Hassie’s family home in Dallas, transformed into a cowboy paradise. Hassie emphasized the personalized nature of their big day, saying, “From the start, Ryan and I just really wanted to create a day that wasn’t just a series of events—but a heartfelt experience that centered around emotions, comfort, intimacy, and genuine moments with the people we love the most. Every choice was a reflection of us, and getting to witness it all come to life was incredible.”
The decor featured a blend of elegant Western aesthetics, with worn leather and delicate lace, under a cathedral-style tented conservatory. The evening concluded with a “cosmic cowboy” after-party, featuring a silent disco and late-night treats, allowing guests to dance into the early hours.
The newlyweds made a memorable wedding exit in a classic Cadillac Coupe Deville, only to return secretly to continue celebrating with their closest friends and family. Hassie recalled, “We danced and drank into the night—probably a bit more and later than we should have considering the big day ahead—but it set the perfect tone for the rest of the weekend.”
