BREAKING: Sen. Mike Lee Says Biden’s Alleged Nordstream Attack Is An Impeachable Offense
Investigative journalist Seymour Hersch recently released a stunning Substack story that has gripped the internet over the last week. In it, he claimed that the explosion that destroyed the Nord Stream 2 pipeline in the Baltic was the work of a US dive team. Hersch is the journalist known for breaking the My Lai massacre and Abu Ghraib prison scandal, so he has a history of breaking stories such as this one.
According to Hersch’s 5,000-word report published on Substack, the “Black Op” bombing of the pipelines was conducted by the CIA in collaboration with Norway. Hersch reports that the attack was ordered by President Joe Biden. The divers behind the attack were apparently trained at the U.S. Navy Diving and Salvage Center in Florida.
The operation in which the explosives were attached to the pipeline occurred, again according to Hersch, during the NATO exercise known as Baltic Operations 22 (BALTOPS 22). That exercise took place near where the sabotage of Nord Stream 2 occurred and happened in June 2022.
That report took Twitter by storm. For one, the financial damage caused massive to both Russia and the Western Europeans. Russia estimated that the damage will cost $500 million to repair and Europe has suffered under the burden of sky-high energy prices after the pipeline was destroyed and the cheap Russian natural gas that flowed through it was cut off.
But, beyond the mere financial damage, the attack was characterized by many as an act of war. If Hersch’s report is accurate, then the US attacked and destroyed a major piece of Russian infrastructure. That would mean Biden pushed the US to the edge of war with Russia, a nuclear-armed power.
Senator Mike Lee of Utah is evidently quite displeased with Biden doing that, as he said “Yes” in response to a question of if the Nord Stream attack was an impeachable offense. Here that is:

This isn’t the first time Sen. Lee has stepped in to criticize the Nord Stream attack in recent days. He posted a thoughtful threat in response to a question by Turning Point USA’s Charlie Kirk, who asked “According to WaPo, Ukraine’s rocket campaign is “reliant on U.S. precision targeting” So the U.S. is now targeting missiles directly at Russia. Are we even trying to call this a proxy war still, or just war?” Senator Lee, in response, said:
We should tread very carefully when approaching a near-peer nuclear adversary.
Have we learned nothing from history?
What is it about the military industrial complex that both political parties find so intoxicating?
If those who worship at the altar of that complex start World War III, we will find no comfort in their predictable invocation of “we had to do this because … national security.”
Who gets richer with every proxy war? It’s never the American people.
Have we learned nothing from history?

The Biden Administration and Central Intelligence Agency both completely denied Hersch’s report, though no realistic explanation of who else would have blown up the pipeline hasn’t been offered. Even if the British conducted the attack, as was initially claimed, it is highly unlikely they would have done so without a nod of approval from the United States.
