Dumb Dem Senator Mark Warner Likens 9/11 To January 6
In an attempt to stay relevant, Senator Mark Warner followed in his President’s steps to make divisive remarks on the 21st anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the nation by comparing it to the January 6 Capitol protest.
The democrat senator appeared on CBS News “Face the Nation” on Sunday and gave such remarks without stopping to rethink what he was saying. Warner recalled the terrorist attacks, which traumatized the nation and led to mourning all around America as about 3,000 American lives were lost. He then proceeded to compare such a disastrous event to the Capitol protests as he said America needs to recall the spirit of unity felt that day to counter a faction he called “election deniers.”
Chuck Todd, the program’s host, opened by placing both events together. He said, “Today is September 11. It was 21 years ago we were attacked by foreign terrorists. Not quite 20 years after 9/11, the Capitol came under attack from domestic terrorists.”
Warner’s response was, “I remember as most Americans do where they were on 9/11. I was in the middle of a political campaign and suddenly the differences with my opponent seemed very small in comparison.”
He added that he was baffled that the attack was still evident in the democracy even after 20 years. He said the only difference at the moment is that the terrorist attack is now by Americans and not foreign terrorists.
Warner ridiculously added, “So, I believe we are stronger… But I do worry about some of the activity in this country where the election deniers, the insurgency that took place on January 6. That is something I hope we can see that same kind of unity of spirit.”
“I think the threat of terror has diminished,” Sen. Mark Warner says, reflecting on where the country is now 21 years after the attacks of 9/11.

This democrat senator was not the only person to insensitively compare the protest held by Americans who wanted their votes to count to a bloody event that will forever be marked in history. Supporting Warren, Sarah Reese Jones, the chief editor for PoliticsUSA, also tweeted. She described the January 6 protest as the “terror attack of 1/6,” adding that the country needs to be defended from both foreign terrorists and domestic ones too.
As expected, far-left media like CNN and MSNBC will never miss an opportunity to condemn American republicans. Tristan Snell, a lawyer, and commentator for the two left-wing media, also tweeted in support of Jones, adding that both events had the same impact on the United States.
In addition, Eric Allen, a Georgia state representative, tweeted that he will never forget the anger and sorrow he felt on the 9th of September, 21 years ago., “The lives lost and the families impacted demand we continue to hold those who attack our democracy accountable.”

The democracy practiced by the Biden administration, where you get described as a terrorist for protesting to the government for your rights as a civilian, is quite laughable.
