Trump Issues Ominous Threat To Iran As Islamic Regime Refuses To Open Strait Of Hormuz

President Donald Trump warned Wednesday that U.S. forces will remain positioned around Iran and threatened to resume military action if Tehran fails to uphold its agreement with Washington.

In a Truth Social post, Trump said American military assets will stay in the region until Iran fully complies with the deal brokered with the United States.

“All U.S. Ships, Aircraft, and Military Personnel, with additional Ammunition, Weaponry … will remain in place in, and around, Iran, until such time as the REAL AGREEMENT reached is fully complied with,” Trump said on his Truth Social platform.

The president then issued a blunt warning about what would happen if Iran backs out.

“If for any reason it is not, which is highly unlikely, then the ‘Shootin’ Starts,’ bigger, and better, and stronger than anyone has ever seen before,” the president added.

Trump’s remarks came after Iran signaled earlier Wednesday that it may be unwilling to move forward with negotiations on a permanent peace agreement following Israel’s latest wave of strikes on Lebanon.

Iranian officials called continued talks “unreasonable” after Israeli forces launched what were described as the heaviest strikes yet on Wednesday, reportedly killing hundreds.

The U.S. and Iran also appeared split on the status of Tehran’s nuclear program, a key sticking point in broader negotiations.

Trump has maintained that Iran agreed to halt uranium enrichment entirely, while Iranian parliament speaker Mohammed Bager Qalibaf claimed Tehran would still be permitted to continue enrichment under the ceasefire framework.

Trump doubled down on his position in a separate Truth Social message late Wednesday, insisting the terms had long been settled.

“It was agreed, a long time ago, and despite all of the fake rhetoric to the contrary – NO NUCLEAR WEAPONS and, the Strait of Hormuz WILL BE OPEN & SAFE,” Trump added in his late Wednesday’s Truth Social post.
