WITCH HUNT: Trump Gets Bad News From Appeals Court Concerning Mara-Lago Raid

Bad news on Thursday for President Trump regarding the disgraceful raid on his home, Mar-A-Lago. An appeals court has overturned the appointment of a special master and will allow the DOJ witch hunt into Trump’s home to continue.

The three-panel of the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals’ ruling overturned the appointment of a special master by US District Judge Aileen Cannon, who granted Trump’s request for a third party to temporarily halt the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) investigation into the thousands of classified and top secret documents seized by the FBI in August.

“The law is clear,” the court’s ruling read. “We cannot write a rule that allows any subject of a search warrant to block government investigations after the execution of the warrant. Nor can we write a rule that allows only former presidents to do so. Either approach would be a radical reordering of our caselaw limiting the federal courts’ involvement in criminal investigations. And both would violate bedrock separation-of-powers limitations.”

The FBI, it should be recalled, marched into Trump’s private home earlier this year and took everything from Trump’s passport to his golf shirts to some of the former first lady’s undergarments. All of this is done under the guise of searching for “secret documents.” A number of boxes were taken, and everything from nuclear codes (which are changed daily) to top secret defense secrets have been alleged without any proof. Surprisingly, the politically corrupt and weaponized DOJ hasn’t pinned the assassination of JFK on the former President.

Trump’s attorneys are likely to appeal this ruling to the Supreme Court, Reuters reported. James Trusty, an attorney representing Trump, said that appointing a special master does not interfere with the DOJ’s investigation, and further argued the FBI raid on his home was conducted in a “carte blanche” manner by allegedly taking personal items such as golf shirts, according to the Washington Post.

Of course, all of the actions taken by the corrupt DOJ are in concert with the current political landscape and the fear the left has in Donald Trump. They know full well there is nothing here. If there was, certainly we would know by now since the FBI has had the supposed top-secret documents for months. Yet here we are, watching the witch hunt unfold in real time. Perhaps Trump’s lawyers can make some headway with the appeals process, but when you have everyone from Merrick Garland on down against you, it will be tough sledding, to say the least.

The DOJ is investigating 11 sets of classified documents taken from Mar-a-Lago—four sets of top secret documents, three sets of secret documents and three more of confidential documents. A highly redacted affidavit released by the DOJ on Aug. 26 revealed that 14 of the 15 boxes retrieved by the National Archives and Record Administration in January consisted of 184 documents – 25 of the documents had “top secret” markings, 92 were labeled “secret” and 67 had a “confidential” warning.

Again, much ado about nothing. If something were damning and Trump had actually absconded with top-secret information, why would the DOJ wait so long to make a move? The short answer is they wouldn’t, and taxpayer dollars are being wasted on a witch hunt. Status quo for the Democrats when it comes to Donald Trump. We are still waiting on the other witch hunts to bear fruit. Russia-gate anyone? The sooner we can vote out this clown show of an administration and remove the rot from the FBI and DOJ, the sooner we can get back to the task of fixing the destruction caused by Joe Biden.
