Trump Stuns Fox News Fans, Torches Longtime Host

President Trump unloaded on Fox News anchor Shannon Bream on Sunday, accusing her of stacking her show with guests, polls and graphics hostile to his administration and the MAGA movement.

The president’s broadside followed Bream’s interview with newly confirmed Attorney General Todd Blanche on “Fox News Sunday.”

Bream pressed Blanche on whether he could remain fair and independent if Trump attempted to influence federal legal matters.

“The president would never ask me to do something unethical or illegal. He never has; he never will,” Blanche told Bream, dismissing concerns about possible interference.

Trump later took to Truth Social to blast Bream’s handling of the Fox News program.

“Watching FoxNews with Shannon Bream is always like watching the Worst of Fake News CNN. I don’t know Shannon, but she always seems to pick guests, charts, and ‘polls’ that are negative, never talking about all of the incredible things that the Trump Administration has done,” Trump wrote, pointing to his administration’s record on border security, the stock market and military operations in Iran and Venezuela.

Trump also accused Bream and “Fox News Sunday” of being “biased against MAGA, ‘TRUMP,’ and Republicans, that it is ridiculous!”

The president went on to predict that viewers would abandon the program.

“In any event, Shannon’s ‘show’ is beyond redemption. Fortunately, MAGA, which is close to 100% of the Republican Party, understands that, and watch her ‘Ratings’ start to fall,” he wrote.

Trump even compared Bream unfavorably with former “Fox News Sunday” anchor Chris Wallace, who left Fox News in 2021.

“Chris Wallace was bad, but Shannon is even worse,” he added, referring to her predecessor.

Trump has repeatedly tangled with members of the press during both of his administrations. While he has frequently praised Fox News and several of its hosts, he has also lashed out when the network airs coverage he views as unfair.

CNN has remained one of Trump’s most frequent media targets. He has long accused the network of pushing left-wing coverage intended to damage his record, and he invoked CNN again while attacking Bream.
