Trump Torches Fox News After Monday’s Episode Of ‘Fox & Friends’

President Donald Trump took Fox News to task Monday over its coverage of Democrats, accusing the network of giving them too much airtime while urging viewers to watch his Kansas rally on Right Side Broadcasting Network.

“Fox spends more time defending Dumocrats, and putting on their views versus their Republican opponent, than at any time in the History of FoxNews,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “It’s ridiculous! FoxNews is trying too hard to be Politically Correct!”

Trump did not identify a specific segment behind Monday’s criticism. His post followed Brian Kilmeade’s opening of the 7 a.m. hour of “Fox & Friends,” when the host discussed Maine Democratic Senate candidate Troy Jackson standing by his “shut up” remark to Republican incumbent Susan Collins. It was unclear whether that discussion prompted Trump’s response.

The president has repeatedly challenged Fox News over its coverage this month, questioning both its treatment of Democratic candidates and its decisions about airing his rallies.

On Oct. 4, Trump criticized the network for passing on coverage of his rallies in Republican states. He also singled out liberal commentator Jessica Tarlov and objected to its handling of an interview with Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed, saying it allowed him to “talk, talk, talk.” He even called out longtime host Martha MacCallum for her coverage of El-Sayed.

“They hardly fight him at all,” Trump said of the El-Sayed interview. “Why are they putting these people on our television networks? Why?”

With another rally scheduled for Monday evening in Kansas, Trump directed his followers to RSBN, the streaming outlet that carries his events.

“Watch my big Kansas Rally today on RSBN,” Trump said. “Great early coverage!”

Fox News was among several subjects Trump addressed in his early morning posts. He also criticized a judge over the administration’s efforts to improve a public golf course in Washington and commented on violent migrant riots in France.
