Elon Musk Hilariously Chimes In After Keith Olbermann Tries To Report Him To TWITTER

Leftist commentator Keith Olbermann called on his followers to report one of Twitter CEO Elon Musk’s tweets late Friday.

In Musk’s tweet, he courageously spoke out in defense of Jacob Chansley, the Jan. 6 “QAnon Shaman,” saying he was “falsely portrayed in the media as a violent criminal who tried to overthrow the state and who urged others to commit violence.”

“But here he is urging people to be peaceful and go home. And the other video shows him calmly walking in the Capitol building, being escorted by officers and then thanking the officers,” Musk wrote.

Olbermann quote tweeted Musk’s comments and said, “Please remember to report this tweet for violating rules by denying a violent event.” Musk fired back with a witty reply. “Have you considered a career in comedy?”

Musk’s reply received over 118,000 likes while Olbermann’s tweet received less than 9,000 likes.

Earlier that day Musk riled up Twitter users by posting a re-emerging video of Chansley which shows the protestor calling for demonstrators to remain peaceful and go home. Musk retweeted the video and added the caption, “Free Jacob Chansley.”

In 2021, Chansely was sentenced to just under three and a half years of prison time in 2021 after reaching a plea deal for a reduced sentence. After Tucker Carlson released never-before-seen Jan. 6 footage, some Americans believe Chansely could have his plea deal appealed.

Harvey Silverglate, a legal expert who is representing Trump attorney John Eastman, said Carlson’s footage which showed capitol police officers happily guiding Jacob Chansely around the capitol could lead to his guilty plea being appealed.

“I think that he can get his guilty plea vacated. He certainly is going to try. I think he will probably succeed,” Silverglate explained. “It’s not the defense’s fault [the footage] wasn’t turned over,” he added.
