WATCH: Tucker Lauds Trump’s “Sophisticated” Foreign Policy: “Much More Nuanced Than Moronic Neocons”

America’s #1 most-watched cable host Tucker Carlson joined former President Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago home and resort on Tuesday for a historic interview amid his legal battle in Manhattan.

During Tuesday’s interview, which marked Trump’s first since his unprecedented indictment, the influential duo covered a number of other items, including Joe Biden’s fitness at 80, the war in Ukraine, and of course, Bragg’s witch hunt.

While discussing Ukraine, Trump made it clear that Putin actually has more nuclear weapons in his arsenal than the United States, which makes ending the conflict as soon as possible critical.

“If he decided to use his second form of destruction – which is nuclear – that’s the end of that … You [Tucker] understand,” Trump said.

Later on, Tucker lauded Trump’s answers on foreign policy.

“His grasp of foreign policy… His understanding of world affairs is so much more nuanced and sophisticated and pro-American than the moronic neocons currently in charge. It was remarkable,” Tucker said during a break in the interview, which was shown in a short clip posted to Twitter by the Trump campaign.

The neoconservatives Tucker could be referring to likely include current Republican leadership in Congress – who have doubled down on supporting Ukraine as of late – as well as 2024 Republican presidential hopefuls, including former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and former Vice President Mike Pence.

On a unique segment from Carlson’s show earlier this year, he asked potential GOP candidates where they stand on the war in Ukraine.

Pompeo and Pence both committed to supporting Ukraine in its endless conflict to the bitter end, while Trump, DeSantis, and Vivek Ramaswamy signaled a desire to end the war as soon as possible.
