‘MALARKEY’: Ex-Biden Business Partner Breaks His Silence, Rips Joe’s Latest Claim
A former business associate of Hunter Biden has contested Joe Biden’s recent denial of any interaction with his son’s foreign business associates. During a press conference on Wednesday, Biden labeled allegations of such interactions as “a bunch of lies.”
However, one of Hunter’s former business associates responded to the President’s remarks by stating to Fox News Digital that Biden’s claim was “complete malarkey.” The source declared that there is “plenty of evidence” to challenge his denial.
On Monday, the House Oversight Committee disclosed subpoenaed bank records indicating that Hunter’s business entity, Owasco P.C., had made direct monthly payments to President Biden.
The reveal challenged Biden’s previous assertions about his non-involvement in his family’s business dealings, as well as raising serious questions about potential conflicts of interest. “President Joe Biden claimed there was an ‘absolute wall’ between his official government duties and his family’s influence peddling schemes,” James Comer (R-KY) said. “This was a lie.”
Eric Schwerin, infamously known for his association with Hunter Biden, was a business partner and played a significant role in managing Hunter’s financial affairs.
Besides being instrumental in overseeing Hunter Biden’s business dealings in China, Schwerin was also significantly involved in handling the financial matters of his father, Joe Biden. His name has appeared in various investigations related to Hunter’s business dealings, especially those involving overseas entities.
A knowledgeable source informed Fox News about Schwerin’s involvement in financial management, stating that Schwerin was responsible for overseeing Biden’s personal finances and liaised with his team for tax preparation.
The same source suggested that there were regular interactions between Schwerin and Joe Biden, as well as his principal advisors made it almost certain that topics related to Rosemont Seneca’s business activities would be brought up in their conversations.
“I’m not going to comment on it… I did not. It was just a bunch of lies,” Biden stated on Wednesday, before shutting down further questions on the matter. The response, while straightforward, has done little to quell swirling allegations and doubts.
The Committee’s investigation has claimed that these were not mere personal transactions from Hunter’s account, but payments from a corporate entity that has been receiving funds from various sources, including China. This was particularly concerning given the ongoing Department of Justice investigation into Hunter for allegations of tax evasion and other serious offenses.
On top of this, the committee’s efforts have been bolstered by whistleblower testimony and a federal judge’s rejection of a proposed plea deal, which hinted at a possible cover-up attempt by the Justice Department to protect the Bidens.
“When Joe Biden was Vice President, he spoke by phone, attended dinners, and had coffee with his son’s foreign business associates,” Comer explained. “He allowed his son to catch a ride on Air Force Two at least a dozen times to sell the “Biden Brand” around the world.”
When asked about the allegations on Tuesday, Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre abruptly ended the press conference. “I have not seen that report, so I would have to refer you to my colleagues over at the White House Counsel’s Office on that particular question,” Jean-Pierre said.
