However, years of cancel culture may have reached a breaking point by then. Wallen quickly began selling out stadium concerts. Meanwhile, one of the country music stations that led the call to cancel him changed its name to ‘Morgan 103.7′ for a weekend to acknowledge his enduring popularity.

Country Superstar Morgan Wallen Charged With Felony
Country music star Morgan Wallen is in trouble with the law again, this time for upping his antics while out at a bar in Nashville, Tennessee over the weekend.
Fox News reports that the “98 Braves” singer allegedly threw a chair off the roof of Chief’s Bar on Broadway on Sunday night, according to a police report describing the incident. Police officers already in the vicinity added they were standing just feet away when the chair exploded on the pavement next to them.
Local news station WTVF reported the chair fell from the sixth floor where Wallen was seen “lunging and throwing an object over the roof.”
Wallen, 30, was booked on three counts of reckless endangerment and one count of disorderly conduct.

“At 10:53 p.m. Sunday evening, Morgan Wallen was arrested in downtown Nashville for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. He is cooperating fully with authorities,” Wallen’s attorney Worrick Robinson told WKRN.
Coverage of the incident may be a blessing in disguise for the establishment, which just opened on Friday, April 5th. The country singer was the best-selling artist of 2023, surpassing major names like Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and Kanye West while selling more than 5.3 million equivalent albums. He had just completed two shows in Indianapolis as part of his One Night At A Time tour.
Wallen’s first court appearance is scheduled for May 3rd, and later that night he will continue the tour with a stop at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.
The Metro Nashville Police Department did not provide a comment to Fox News beyond the contents of the night’s police report.
A resurgence in country music’s popularity has given rise to sensational artists like Wallen, who has grown so popular that he was even featured in crossover promotions like a music video with rapper Drake last year. The Tennessee native ran headfirst into cancel culture in 2021 after uttering a racial slur during a drunken outing caught on camera, costing him recording deals with several labels.
