Famous Actor’s Anti-Trump Tirade Backfires After Surprising Response From Followers
A snarling anti-Trump video from one of Hollywood’s most outspokenly liberal actors has backfired in a big way.
Billy Eichner, the actor and comedian who has made his visceral hatred of Trump evident in multiple social media posts this year, did the exact opposite of what he hoped in an expletive-ridden video denouncing the Republican as a “f****** nepo baby” who is “mentally disintegrating in front of our eyes.” Eichner didn’t hide his disdain for what he stated is Harris’ failure to inspire the left. “The polls are not good. I am going to just be blunt, I don’t work for the Kamala campaign,” he said, but “It’s two weeks until the election, I am getting a lot of texts and a lot of people panicking. It is time to f****** panic.”

The Daily Mail reported on Eichner’s four-minute video where he rages about speaking with fans or colleagues who are blinded by apathy. “People saying Donald and Kamala, I see young people saying ‘They’re the same. I hate him, but I don’t know if I can vote for her. What the f*** are you talking about? Please, get involved.” But the “Parks and Recreation” cast member got more than he bargained for when Trump fans swarmed his social media pages proclaiming they are doubling down on their commitment to hitting the polls for their man. “Trump it is! Thanks Billy,” Samuel Sung wrote on TikTok. Another user with the handle Fenue declared, “I agree with Billy Trump 2024!!” while a third reported having cast his vote in California where he sees “incredible momentum” for Trump.
Eichner, 47, did his best to cajole his followers to vote for Harris by doling out a litany of Trump insults, all to no avail. “He’s a f****** nepo baby, incompetent motherf***** who is mentally disintegrating in front of our eyes, and his voters don’t seem to care,” Eichner continued. “It’s going to be up to the rest of us f****** sane people to save this country, save this economy. Save our most vulnerable citizens. Women who don’t have access to abortions, LGBTQ folks. Anyone with half a f****** brain… You can be annoyed at me, but that’s not the point. Everyone has to get in the game here. We can’t let what happened with Hillary happen again… He is a danger to the physical safety of American citizens everywhere. He is very, very dangerous and not in the cool f****** way some of his fanboys think he is, okay.”
On X, Trump supporter Elon Musk took a minute out of campaigning to mock Eichner. “And they don’t even realize how big the loss will be yet,” he wrote.

Whether anyone still cares about the political leanings of D-list actors remains to be seen. More notable names like Jon Voight, Dennis Quaid, and Zachary Levi have expressed their admiration for Trump or openly participated in get-out-the-vote rallies for him in key swing states. “I really admire Trump for going into the neighborhoods,” Quaid said about Trump’s Bronx rally this summer. “You know, people relate to that. They really do. If anything, all these events… have actually made him more human to people.”
