Authorities Release New Video Of Potential Suspect In Nancy Guthrie Disappearance

Federal investigators have released new surveillance video and images connected to the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of Today show co-host Savannah Guthrie, as the search enters a critical phase and pressure mounts for fresh leads.

The newly released footage shows a masked individual approaching Guthrie’s Tucson-area home during the overnight hours when she is believed to have vanished.

Authorities say the individual appears to tamper with or disable a security camera outside the residence, a detail investigators now believe may be central to understanding how the disappearance unfolded.

Law enforcement officials say that the individual seen in the video has not been officially named a suspect. Instead, they are referring to the person as a “subject” or “person of interest” and are asking the public to help identify the individual or provide information about their movements.
