Biden’s Election Nightmare Comes True As Far-Left Voters Say They’re ‘Never’ Voting For Him
Pro-Palestine protesters could be heard shouting “we’re never voting for Biden” outside a $25 million fundraiser for the president’s re-election campaign in New York City on Saturday.
The star-studded fundraiser — which featured ex-presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton in addition to President Biden — was held at the historic Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Ticket prices for the event reached as high as $25,000, leading to a rec0rd-setting haul for a single event.
The scene was much different outside, however, as hundreds of Pro-Palestine demonstrators once again marched to voice their dissatisfaction with Biden’s handling of the war in Gaza. A number of Biden’s speaking events and fundraisers have been crashed by Pro-Palestine protesters, who have referred to him as “genocide Joe” while calling for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
Thursday night’s protest turned tense at times, with demonstrators heckling fundraiser attendees as they left the event. “Enjoy Trump because we’re not voting for Biden ever! Enjoy Trump,” protesters could be heard yelling. Others called attendees “fu**ing losers” and “genocide supporters” as they were forced to make their way through a throng of protesters as they exited the event.
Thursday’s intense protest was the latest illustration of the ongoing schism between progressive leftists and establishment Democrats over the war in Gaza.
The issue was most pronounced in Michigan’s Democratic primary, when a sizable number of registered Democrats voted “uncommitted” in protest of Biden’s stance on the conflict. In total, more than 10 percent of Michigan Democrats voted against Biden, far surpassing the target goal of 10,000 votes.
The actual result was stunning, with at least 101,436 Michigan Democrats voting “uncommitted,” good for 13.2 percent of the vote. An additional five percent went to Rep. Dean Phillips (D-MN) and perennial candidate Marianne Williamson.
U.S. Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) — who played a key role in organizing the uncommitted effort — has refused to endorse President Biden’s re-election campaign as of this report.
