“Blue Bloods” star Donnie Wahlberg narrowly escaped disaster Sunday when a private jet carrying the actor and seven others skidded off a runway and slammed into a fence at a Las Vegas airport.

The 57-year-old actor was aboard a Dassault Falcon 50, preparing to depart from Harry Reid International Airport around 11 a.m., when the pilots aborted takeoff. The aircraft ran out of runway and struck a perimeter fence, prompting an emergency response.

Nobody aboard was injured, though the frightening ordeal left Wahlberg shaken.

The jet had been headed to Toronto Pearson International Airport in Canada, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

Wahlberg, who also performs with New Kids on the Block, addressed the incident on Instagram after receiving a flood of messages from concerned fans and loved ones.

“Getting a lot of concerned messages and texts about my flight’s failed attempt at leaving Las Vegas this morning. Thank you to all!” Wahlberg wrote.

“I appreciate your concern and well wishes. I made this video for my friends and family, after the incident, but so many of you all are my family too so I figured I’d share with you.”

The actor confirmed that members of his team and several friends had accompanied him on the flight, describing the terrifying moments before the aircraft came to a stop.

“Yes, it was me and my team/friends onboard the aircraft. It was a rather intense few moments (which felt like a few long minutes).”

Wahlberg praised the pilots for their handling of the emergency, crediting them with preventing a potentially deadly outcome.

“Thankful to God, of course, and to our incredible pilots who did an amazing job of keeping us safe and avoiding a serious disaster.”

The aircraft sustained damage after leaving the runway, but Wahlberg said everyone aboard emerged unharmed.

“The airplane did take some lumps — but we did not. Thank you to all the emergency personnel on the ground in Las Vegas! You all were absolutely wonderful.”

“All glory to God! By His grace, we are all ok.”

The incident forced airport officials to close two runways for safety inspections, disrupting operations at one of the busiest airports in the country.

The FAA also temporarily halted arriving flights, causing delays as emergency crews responded and officials assessed the situation.

The ground stop began at 12:50 p.m. and was lifted by 2:30 p.m., according to PEOPLE.

Airport spokesperson Monika Bertaki confirmed that no injuries had been reported. The cause of the runway incident was not immediately clear.

Harry Reid International Airport had recorded more than 370,000 aircraft operations and handled upward of 34 million passengers through August 2026.

The close call came just hours after Wahlberg performed with New Kids on the Block during the final show of the group’s Las Vegas residency Saturday night.

Before the incident, Wahlberg had shared a selfie from aboard the aircraft on Instagram.

Wahlberg became a household name to television audiences through his portrayal of Detective Danny Reagan on “Blue Bloods,” the CBS police drama that followed a multigenerational family of New York City law enforcement officers.

The series premiered in 2010 and starred Tom Selleck as NYPD Commissioner Frank Reagan, with Will Estes portraying his youngest son, Jamie, and Bridget Moynahan playing his daughter, Erin.

“Blue Bloods” concluded its 14-season run in December 2024. Wahlberg has since reprised his role as Danny Reagan in the CBS spinoff “Boston Blue.”
