Check Out Biden’s Response After Asked If He Could Beat Trump A Second Time
President Joe Biden made it clear on Tuesday that he totally believes he can defeat former President Donald Trump a second time to retain the White House for a another term come 2024, despite going on to admit the nation might end up sliding into a recession with him at the helm. Why in the world would anyone want to vote for a person who has confessed that if they are in the top spot in our government, they are likely going to cause significant economic damage? You’d have to be brain dead to pull the lever for Biden after making that kind of statement.
According to Newsmax, the 79-year-old was asked if he would be making an announcement about running for a second term after the November midterm elections and whether or not Trump would play a part in his decision.
“I believe I can beat Donald Trump again,” Biden went on to say, although he managed to stop just short of confirming another go at the White House in 2024. Not only is he suffering from cognitive decline, he’s gone full blown delusional too.
“Biden defeated Trump in both the state-by-state “electoral college” and the popular vote in 2020 — leading to claims of voter fraud from the defeated president. Biden indicated to reporters at a NATO summit in March that he would be happy for Trump to be his opponent again. Biden’s popularity has taken a hit in the last year amid soaring inflation, rising violent crime in cities and a seemingly intractable migrant crisis at the southern border,” the report said.
The president’s approval rating — which has more or less been a sunken turd at the bottom of the toilet bowl — seem to indicate that people aren’t all that pleased with his policies, particularly when it comes to the economy. Life is hard when the inflation rate is sky high and the price of basic goods, like groceries, hit the stratosphere. Hard to find a good reason to applaud the man in the Oval Office when you can clearly see that his policies are responsible for this disaster.
CNN asked Biden what he would say to folks who believe he’s too old to go for reelection.
“Name me a president in recent history that’s gotten as much done as I have in the first two years. Not a joke. You may not like what I got done, but the vast majority of the American people do like what I got done,” Biden said.
“And so… it’s a matter of, can you do the job? And I believe I can do the job,” he quickly added.
One of the reasons Trump became so popular during his time in office is due to his economic policies. Being a business man, he sought to extend a hand to the average American who started a business by relieving regulations and helping to foster an atmosphere of free trade that would increase revenue and reduce the cost of doing business in the local community.
Biden has taken the exact opposite route. He’s shut down the Keystone XL Pipeline which caused a massive spike in the cost of fuel, increased our dependence on foreign oil, and destroyed jobs. That’s just one example of many.
I’d say, given the damage he’s done, I don’t think folks will be eager to cast a ballot for him in the next presidential election.
